Become a Golden Cycling Club Member
A great deal goes in to building and maintaining trails. The Golden Cycling Club (GCC) is a dedicated group of Goldenites who do all the dirty work of figuring out land use agreements, trail planning, building, and maintaining over 160km of trails. Memberships are vital to our trail networks and to enhancing our ability to advocate for trail use in the Golden area.
Becoming a member means you’re part of a community of trail users that strives to maintain and protect outdoor sports in Golden, no matter which sport you participate in or where you’re from.
Memberships run from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.
Membership Benefits
Membership includes the following discounts:
- The opportunity to vote at our AGM and influence the direction of the club and the trails in Golden.
- The ability to participate in GCC hosted events
- Access to inside information and communication about trail development, events, GCC news and other items of interest for trail users.
- Discounts on local businesses: (discounts at the discretion of the shop owner and may change without notice)
- Derailed Sports: 10% discount on service labour
- Higher Ground: 10% discount on bike merchandise.
- Selkirk Ski and Bike: 10% discount on service labour
Membership dues are used to:
- Build and maintain trails
- Purchase tools for the maintenance of trails.
- Host amazing events.
- Purchase insurance for hosting events, building and maintaining trails.
- Help leverage support for funding and grant applications.
- Advocate for the needs and interests of our membership.
- Facilitate the protection of trails from land use conflicts through advocacy and sanctioning.
None of the what club has achieved would be possible without it’s members.
Individual Membership Rates Are:
- Adults: $52.47
- Juniors (16 and under): $21.04
Family Membership:
- Family Rate: $104.93 (Includes two adults and unlimited juniors)
