Fat Bike Grooming Report
March 6th
Date of last groom: March 2nd (Adaptive Loop)
Conditions: New Snow
Upper CBT: Very snowed in
Adaptive Loop: Groomed
The Adaptive Loop was able to get groomed on Saturday, but Upper CBT has way too much snow to be able to be groomed without some extensive snowshoe efforts. Based on the forecast for this weekend and next week (in the mid teens) we’ve decided to leave it as is. This will allow the trails to melt out a bit quicker for dirt season.
This will likely wrap up fat bike season. It hasn’t been the best season for grooming, but hopefully you were able to get out and get some laps in! Look forward to new trails and more grooming capability next season!
Remember, fat bike trails are for riding fat bikes only; ie. 4″+ tires. Put the skinny tires away for the season. If you’re making ruts, you’re wrecking the trails and frustrating the groomer!
