Become a Golden Cycling Club Member
A lot goes in to building and maintaining our trails. The Golden Cycling Club (GCC) is a dedicated corps of local riders who do all the dirty work of land use agreements, trail planning, building, and maintenance for over 260km of trails. Memberships are vital to our trail networks and to the Golden Cycling Club.
Becoming a member means you’re part of a community of trail users that strives to maintain and protect outdoor sports in Golden, no matter your sport or where you’re from.
Memberships run from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.
Membership Benefits
Membership includes the following discounts:
- The opportunity to vote at our AGM and influence the direction of the club and bike trails in Golden.
- The ability to participate in our GCC hosted events such as Furious Five Races, Kids Camp, Fall Scavenger Hunt, and more.
- Access to inside information and communication about events, updates, and other items of interest.
- Discounts on local businesses: (discounts at the discretion of the shop owner and may change without notice)
- Derailed Sports: 10% discount on service labour
- Higher Ground: 10% discount on bike merchandise.
- Selkirk Ski and Bike: 10% discount on service labour
Membership dues are used to:
- Build and maintain trails.
- Purchase tools for building and maintaining trails.
- Host amazing events.
- Buy insurance so the club can build and maintain trails.
- Help leverage support for funds
- Advocate for the needs and interests of our memberships.
- Facilitate the protection of trails from land use conflicts through advocacy and sanctioning.
None of the what club has achieved would be possible without it’s members.
Individual Membership Rates Are:
- Adults: $50
- Juniors (16 and under): $20
Family Membership:
- Family Rate: $100 (Includes two adults and unlimited juniors)
