GCC Memberships and Perks

Everyone is encouraged to join online. Your membership will be valid from April 1st to March 31st the following year.

This is a simple two stage process:

STEP 1: View the available membership levels by clicking the ‘Become a Member’ button below and choosing “Register” (for new users) beside the desired membership level, and follow the prompts.

STEP 2: Complete the online membership payment (via secure online payment using any credit card). Once you have registered, your membership will auto-renew. If you would like to turn this off you can do so through the Profile page on your membership account.

BONUS STEP 3: Jerseys are back  with a new design for the 2023/2024 season! These jerseys are only available for GCC members. These jerseys are only available for GCC members and cost $50. You can purchase them once you sign up for your membership via the shop.

 

Membership Benefits

Membership includes the following discounts:

  • Derailed Sports: 10% discount
  • Higher Ground: 10% discount
  • Selkirk Ski and Bike: 10% discount

and

  • Access to limited edition gear like our  member jersey at wholesale prices. This custom made Sombrio jersey will be available to members only and must be pre ordered.
  • The opportunity to vote at our AGM and influence the direction of the club and bike trails in Golden.
  • The ability to participate in our GCC hosted events such as Furious Five Races, Kids Camp, Fall Scavenger Hunt, and more.
  • Access to inside information and communication about events, updates, and other items of interest.

Membership dues are used to:

  • Build and maintain trails.
  • Purchase tools for building and maintaining trails.
  • Host amazing events.
  • Buy insurance so the club can build and maintain trails.
  • Help leverage support for funds
  • Advocate for the needs and interests of our memberships.
  • Facilitate the protection of trails from land use conflicts through advocacy and sanctioning.

None of the what club has achieved would be possible without it’s members.

Individual Membership Rates Are:

  • Adults: $50
  • Juniors (16 and under): $20

Family Membership:

  • Family Rate: $100 ($50 per adult and unlimited juniors)

Corporate Sponsorship:

This year we’re introducing 4 levels of corporate sponsorship:

  • Beginner (Supporter Level): $300
    • What You’ll Get:
      • 1 Facebook and Instagram post thanking your organization.
      • Recognition as a Beginner Level sponsor on our website and in the footer of our monthly newsletters.
      • 1 membership for someone in you organization (with voting rights).
      • 1 exclusive GCC item.

 

  • Intermediate (Sponsor Level): $500
    • What You’ll Get:
    • • 2 Facebook and Instagram posts thanking your organization.
      • Recognition as an Intermediate Level sponsor on our website and in the footer of our
      monthly newsletters.
      • 2 memberships for people in your organization (with voting rights).
