GCC events are back and we are kicking off the Season with our new FURIOUS 5 race series. Fun for all, this 5 part series will focus on moderate length intermediate level tech and is only for GCC members (ie; must be a member to participate).
With an event every second week, the 5 event series will run over a 10 week period and is focused on Thursday and Friday evening riding with the Final Event on a Saturday. Starting on May 17th at only $5 per event, these events are for anybody that wants to have a good time on a bike with good people and get a little elbow rub on. There will be a Men’s and Women’s category with a winner for each individual event and also overall Champions for both.
Only participants that race all 5 events will be eligible to get a FURIOUS 5 t-shirt and the series Champions get to hold on to their trophies until the 2020 season.
Other important details will be posted the week prior to the event on GCC social media and with a club eblast newsletter.
Each event is supported by a local business. Please come out and have a good time supporting cycling in Golden and the efforts of the supporting locals. After each event, times and awards will be announced at a local venue around town. We hope to have weeknight events wrapped up by 9pm.
